dogsYou may have heard the expression you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, well this week I made a new friend, her name is Lady and she like me is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and she’s the latest addition to Ian’s family having had a pretty tough start in life. As a rule I tend to like humans more than dogs but I decided for Mum to be open to the idea of making a new friend and well what can I say she’s brilliant – this week we’ve had a sleepover, been on long walks and played non-stop. This new discovery got me thinking about why we are often hesitant to try new things or meet new people – we often hear in the office; “I already work with a supplier and I wouldn’t want to risk moving.”

I completely understand why people would want to stick with what they know and what is comfortable, but sometimes it’s worth considering something that is a little out of your comfort zone. CMS for example have recently started working with a couple of new clients purely because of the new and interesting services we can offer our clients. Experience shows us that our clients like knowing that they have a dedicated account manager and the process from design to delivery is managed by one team.

So I am setting you a challenge for this week, why not try something new and ring Jo or Rob on 0845 873 1444 and see what you can gain.
